Join us in Egypt for a land tour and/or diving in the Red Sea! You can book either one or both packages. If you want to do both the land tour and diving, you will select 2 packages when you check-out.

Land Tour (October 17-23, 2027): Our land tour will begin in Cairo and includes a visit to the Giza Pyramids and a camel ride, a visit to the Sphinx, and an afternoon at the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). We will then fly to Aswan where we will board a luxurious Nile river cruise for 3 nights, with stops at the Unfinished Obelisk, Temple of Philae, Kom Ombo Temple of Sobek, Edfu, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatsheput, and the Colossi of Memnon. Our land tour ends in Luxor where you will either fly home or go by bus to Hurghada to board the liveaboard.

Red Sea Liveaboard (October 23-30, 2027): Simply the best shark itinerary the Red Sea has to offer! Explore the untouched wonders of Egypt's remote offshore reefs on this thrilling diving liveaboard adventure. Dive into the renowned marine havens of Brothers and Daedalus, and uncover their majestic drop-offs. And don't forget the chance to explore the captivating Elphinstone reef on this unforgettable journey. With plenty of opportunity to see hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, and even the elusive thresher, this is a hard trip to beat.

Divers are required to have their Advanced Open Water Diving certification and have completed a minimum of 30 dives prior to the trip. We strongly recommend Nitrox certification.

You should arrange your international flight so that you arrive in Cairo on this day. As we get closer to the trip and you booking your flights, times will be provided for when transfers from the airport to the hotel are provided.

Today is a relaxing day to recover from your long flight. If you would like to visit the Mosque of Mohammed Ali, you can purchase it as an add-on.

In the morning, we will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. We will also ride camels at the pyramids. You will have lunch at an Egyptian restaurant and then spend the afternoon at the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). Breakfast and lunch are included.

After breakfast, you will transfer to the Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, we will be escorted to our cruise ship to drop luggage. We will then visit the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

After breakfast, we begin sailing to Kom Ombo to visit the beautiful Temple of Sobek. We then continue sailing toward Edfu, with lunch on board. Upon arrival, you will be taken by carriage to the Temple of Horus. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

You also have the option to visit the Nubian Village for an additional fee as an add-on tour.

After breakfast, you will go to the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. You will then return to the cruise for lunch and afternoon tea. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

You also have the option to purchase an add-on of a hot air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings at sunrise.

After breakfast we will check out from the Nile cruise and head to the East Bank of Luxor, where we will visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples.

If you are continuing your journey to dive the Red Sea, you will transfer via air-conditioned bus to Hurghada and board the liveaboard. Boxed lunch will be provided to guests traveling by bus to the liveaboard.

If you are heading home, you will transfer to Luxor airport to fly home.

We board the beautiful liveaboard Blue Melody at 6:00 pm for the best shark itinerary the Red Sea has to offer! We will have 6 days of diving, up to 4 dives per day, and one night dive. We will visit the famous dive sites of Brothers, Daedalus, and Elphinstone. There will be plenty of opportunites to see hammerhead sharks, oceanic whitetip sharks, and even the elusive thresher.

You will disembark the liveaboard after breakfast and transfer to the Hurghada airport. When you book your flight home from Hurghada, it needs to be mid-afternoon or later.
